A Free, Private Financial Healing Quiz
Has money ever felt like it wasn't really yours?
If you've ever had to justify a purchase, carried more than your share, or been told you're "bad with money," there may be a name for what you experienced. This quiz helps you understand more about what you experienced.
Why This Quiz Exists
It started with 28 pairs of underwear.
In a therapy session, I shared that I'd bought six pairs of underwear and felt like I had really indulged. My therapist asked what it would feel like to buy enough for a whole month. Twenty-eight pairs.
I was stumped. It sounded like something only a queen would do. I'd buy 50 pairs for my daughters without blinking. But for me? A hard stop.
I asked her how to fix it. She said, "Teach other women how to heal it." So here we are.
You might not call it abuse
Many women never realize financial abuse is even a thing. It can look like "reasonable" rules, uneven bills, or guilt over basic needs.
This quiz isn't a diagnosis. It's a gentle mirror to help you notice patterns and put words to what you've felt.

Quiet signs that often go unnamed
Financial abuse doesn't always look like what we expect. Sometimes it feels like this.
The math never mathed
Money came in, but security never seemed to show up.
Asking permission
You had to justify or account for money, even money you earned.
Guilt at checkout
Buying something for yourself still feels anxious, even years later.
"Bad with money"
You believe it, though no real evidence ever supported it.
“That belief did not come from evidence. It came from someone who needed you to believe it.”
